The Story Behind Glide Method

A Multidimensional Approach to Healing the Whole You.

Glide Method was founded by Jenn Duffy, whose decade-long journey of healing, curiosity, and deep study of the human body evolved into a comprehensive, intuitive, and science-backed system for restoring balance, vitality, and flow.

What began as Jenn’s personal search for answers transformed into a method that honors the body as a multidimensional ecosystem: physical, emotional, neurological, and energetic.

In her early twenties, after being misdiagnosed with an autoimmune disease, Jenn realized she needed to become her own advocate. Traditional approaches weren’t offering solutions, and her body was speaking to her, loudly. Determined to listen, she stepped into an entirely new world of healing.

She immersed herself in modalities ranging from chakra balancing and bee venom therapy to vitamin IV drips, detox protocols, dietary shifts, environmental changes, and more. Each step revealed the profound interconnectedness and intelligence of the body.

During this time, Jenn was simultaneously building a career in the fast-paced, high-pressure world of film and television. This journey ultimately led her to become an Emmy Award–winning producer, but also pushed her body and nervous system to their limits. It was in those years that she learned: healing cannot be compartmentalized, everything in the body is connected, everything speaks.

Her own body became her greatest teacher.

Jenn spent years as an avid runner until the stress on her knees and hips forced her to pause. What emerged from that pause was unexpected: She bought a pair of rollerblades.

 

Gliding became her medicine.

 

There was something sacred about that feeling, the smooth, rhythmic momentum, the lightness, the flow-state it unlocked in both her mind and her fascia. She felt her breath deepen, her nervous system soften and her whole being reorganize.

And that’s where the seed of Glide Method took root:
A realization that healing should feel like flow, not force. Like returning home, not fighting your body.

 

As she continued evolving personally, she was also training professionally, following a clear calling to understand the human body with precision and reverence. She became a:

  • Licensed Massage Therapist

  • Certified Personal Trainer

  • Corrective Exercise Specialist

  • Lymphatic Drainage Practitioner

  • Hands-On Brain Therapy Practitioner

  • Emotion Code Practitioner

These modalities, combined with her intuitive bodywork and lived experience navigating burnout, stress, and physical imbalance, form the backbone of her method.
